Storage Tank Above Leyden

I love water towers, silos, and storage tanks in all their different shapes and sizes. Some seem like structures for water storage but actually have other uses such as storage for natural gas. It can be hard to tell the difference.
After painting the water tower near Loveland, I decided to locate all the water towers and storage tanks near my house that I could find. The more I looked, the more I found.
This tank was located on the southern ridge above Leyden. I was drawn to the vantage point of the storage tank sitting high on the ridge overlooking the plateau to the north. This is painted from a photo I took long before all the recent housing development near Leyden. The view is not the same anymore and I’m not sure if the storage tank is still there.
