The process of drawing depends on the visual idea that I am pursuing. I will usually work through the same idea many times varying the materials with each successive attempt. I don’t feel the need to follow any particular style. I’m more interested in trying to capture the idea, motif, or feeling that I’m pursuing that seems so elusive, bouncing around in the grey cells of my mind that I’m trying to grasp and fix on the page. Almost like when you wake from a juicy dream and you are trying to remember the details before it disappears into the ether.
