After a long two month process, my website is back up and running. Yay! I learned (and relearned) so much in the process of rebuilding the site. I can’t say it was always a positive experience. Growing pains are always difficult, but the outcome is definitely an improvement.

Last week was especially interesting and not necessarily in a good way. In the process of replacing images on my website, it stopped responding and when I refreshed the page it had disappeared. I couldn’t login or anything. Is Mercury in retrograde?

In my neck of the woods the signs of spring are quiet and tentative this year as if all things green are afraid of emerging too early and being caught in the freezing temperatures of March and April. There was a bunch on a bookcase that were obviously in use but had no information on the spine as to what they might contain. So I pulled one after another off the shelf to see what was inside.

This Sunday, September 23, is the first full day of autumn. After the recent record breaking heat, I am ready for cooler temperatures. I am not ready for snow or putting the garden to rest for the year since it seems like the garden is really coming into its full summer glory now.

I can’t believe we are halfway through the year already. Wow did those six months fly by or what. And how are those goals coming along?

A special day to relax with family and friends and to enjoy a firework or two. I hope you are enjoying the day with backyard barbecues, friends and family.
