Greetings and salutations,
These three paintings are not really a tryptic in the strictest sense. More of a mini-series of related paintings where each are meant to stand on their own. These paintings are from different views of North Table Mountain from Easley Road or West 58th Drive.
North Table Mountain is one of my favorite landscape features and I’ve painted it many times. For this mini-series, I wanted to explore how a slight change in location can reveal larger changes in view. The front range had a very wet spring that year which allowed the grasses to get a very emerald green color. Not at all typical for our area.
Take care and have a beautiful day,
