In my neck of the woods the signs of spring are quiet and tentative this year as if all things green are afraid of emerging too early and being caught in the freezing temperatures of March and April. As I’m writing this, I’m longing for warm sunny days. Ironically it was 60 degrees yesterday. A beautiful day that had people outside enjoying the warm weather. Birds were singing. Bunnies doing what bunnies do best, I’m sure. My husband and I even planted an onion that had sprouted alongside the ones that I planted last spring. Yellow crocuses were blooming alongside my hardy cyclamen. All that and more are now buried under several inches of snow.
